Corona Creek Hill Side Vineyard is in the Petaluma Gap area of Sonoma, benefiting from the cool fog that comes in and prolongs the growing season. It is typically the last vineyard we harvest. Owner Chris Ritcey takes a holistic, sustainable approach to farming, which we appreciate. In the addition to the Owl boxes for gopher management, sheep are employed for the purposes of weed control.  And, of course, while the sheep are at it, they help fertilize the soil! Cover crops between the rows provide for a natural way to introduce additional nitrogen to the vineyard. We contract about 10 rows on the hill side which produces fantastic fruit, all Dijon 115.
