 Lone Oak vineyard is located in the northern part of the Santa Lucia
Highlands appellation, near Monterey, California. The vineyard's mix of
alluvial rocky soils, maritime breezes and morning fog influence the wine
toward a classically structured Pinot Noir with a good balance of
ripeness and acidity. The Santa Lucia Highlands has a very long growing
season which results in more mature grapes that allow more complex
flavors to develop in the wine.
