Our Wines

Stomping Girl 2008 Pinot Noir

Our wines reflect the excitement of the harvest and crush, and of the fermentation and press.  Our wines reflect the patience required to allow the characteristics of the wine to develop while sitting in barrels before being bottled.  And they represent the reward of taking the fruits of the earth and turning them into the fruits of your labor.  We hope you enjoy the wines as much as we have enjoyed making them.  Cheers!

2008 Lone Oak Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir

$38 a bottle and 10% case (12 bottles) discount

Lone Oak Pinot NoirA beautiful fruit forward Pinot Noir with red berry notes, nice structure and velvety tannins.  The Lone Oak vineyard sees ocean influence, foggy mornings and afternoon winds that contribute to an excellent balance of ripeness and acidity.  The grapes were hand-sorted and de-stemmed, cold soaked, and then punched down several times per day.  The wine was aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels from François Frères to let the flavors and structure develop.

2008 Split Rock Vineyard, Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

$38 a bottle and a 10% case (12 bottles) discount

Split Rock Pinot NoirWell balanced, deep ruby red in color and perfumed with cherry and a hint of spice.  Our Split Rock Pinot Noir comes from the Petaluma Gap in the Sonoma Coast appellation. A bouquet of red fruit flavors comes through with a solid acid backbone, a touch of creaminess and a well-balanced mouthfeel.  The grapes were hand-sorted and de-stemmed, cold soaked and then punched down 2-3  times per day.  As with our Lone Oak, Split Rock was aged in a combination of new and used French oak barrels from François Frères to let the flavors and structure develop.
