Vineyard: Steve Beresini retired as a winemaker working alongside legendary Andre Tchelistcheff and planted his own vineyard in 1989. His Pinot and Chardonnay vineyard also supplies fruit to Tor, Staglin and Knights Bridge. Attention to low yields and meticulous farming produce top-quality fruit. Stomping Girl’s dedicated rows are comprised of Calera, Pommard and 777 clones.
Tasting Notes: Forest floor aromatics give way to dark red fruit and a hint of spicy clove and anise. This 2011 Beresini Vineyard displays nice tannins and bright acidity, lending well to cellar aging for years to come.
